    Jennifer Lawrence is now a dab hand at collecting awards for her acting efforts but while previously all attention was focused on her appearance opposite Bradley Cooper in the Silver Linings Playbook, she finally received an accolade for The Hunger Games.

    At Sunday’s Jameson Empire Film Awards Jennifer Lawrence fought off competition from nomination-list regulars, Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Dame Judi Dench (Skyfall) and Naomi Watts (The Impossible).

    But is was Jennifer’s debut stab at playing Katniss Everdeen in the screen adaptation of the hugely popular The Hunger Games trilogy that saw her receive another trophy.

    Although she’ll need to make room on her mantelpiece, next to her Oscar and Golden Globe and numerous other awards for her latest award.

    Unfortunately Jennifer couldn’t be there to accept her award in person as she’s busy working in Boston on the as yet unamed film about the Abscam scandal in the 70s. She was spotted on set over the weekend sporting a stunning retro hairstyle, her blonde locks piled high up her crown.

    Joining Jennifer on the Empire Awards winner’s roll call was Daniel Radcliffe who nabbed the Empire Hero award and Les Miserables star, Samantha Barks who won Best Female Newcomer.
