It’s very rare to hear private pair Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin speak out about their relationship, but that’s exactly what Coldplay frontman Chris has done in a brand new interview.

When asked by show host Anthony Mason about rumours he had only had ‘one serious relationship’, the shy singer replied: ‘That's right. I'm in it.'
And when Mason pointed out that marrying his first serious girlfriend just a year later was 'pretty unusual’ and ‘quite a leap,’ Chris retorted: ‘It’s a giant leap!’
'It's a big leap? What, from being a loser, to going out with an Oscar winner?' he laughed.

‘It's a giant leap. Let's face it; it's like winning the lottery.'
And it wasn’t just his wife Chris was happy to wax lyrical about – the unusually relaxed singer also opened up on two children Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses, revealing they make him ‘more focused' in his work.
‘It's made it more focused,’ he said. 'And you have a purpose. I like what it does. Just the idea of having to work hard so your kids are okay.'
