Hugh Grant could have had the pick of the bunch for his red carpet date at the premiere of his latest movie, The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, but the actor chose to take Elizabeth Hurley's son, Damian, as his plus one.
The 51-year-old is godfather to his ex-girlfriend's son and he clearly takes his responsibilities very seriously.
Grant, who recently became a father himself for the first time to baby Tabitha, treated nine-year-old Damian to a glitzy night at the premiere of the new animated film at The Mayfair Hotel.

Hurley's son waited patiently on the sidelines as Grant gave interviews and posed for photos for the waiting press.
His co-stars David Tennant and Bill Bailey joined him at the premiere of the film, which also features the voices of Martin Freeman, Brendan Gleeson, Russell Tovey and Ashley Jensen.
