It's SO soon

Since Meghan Markle announced that she is pregnant with her first child, the world has been watching the Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, waiting for all of the details.

The couple has remained tight-lipped about the gender (although fans think they've worked it out), but there have been reports about everything from the vegan paint that Meghan wants for the baby's nursery to where they'll send their child to school in four years time.

Yes, the Baby Sussex buzz is real.

They've been more than happy to talk about their happy news to reporters and fans, and Meghan revealed her due date during an official royal engagement in January.

One fan said: 'She said she is six months pregnant and due at the end of April, beginning of May.'

When they announced that they are expecting back in September, Kensington Palace said that Harry and Meghan would be welcoming their little bundle of joy in the Spring, but declined to give more specific details.

However, many are wondering if Meghan is due to give birth a lot sooner than we previously thought after she made a comment during an engagement this week.

At a Buckingham Palace reception for the Prince of Wales, Welsh Secretary of State, Alun Cairns reportedly asked about Baby Sussex.

'All in good order? I’m sure everyone is asking,' he said.

'No, it’s actually very sweet. It’s a nurturing thing to ask. We’re nearly there,' Meghan replied.

This flippant comment has convinced some royal fans that she will give birth in the next month, although - it has to be said - this is purely speculation.

Is the world just very excited for the arrival for the next royal baby? Most definitely. But we're just going to have to wait patiently to meet the little one.
