Ever since we set eyes on the first stills of Michelle Williams as blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe in new movie My Week With Marilyn, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the film’s release.

Now the very first trailer has debuted online, and we’re happy to report the new flick looks every bit as brilliant as we hoped…

The Brit film is based on a book of the same name, written by Colin Clark, who worked as an assistant on the set of movie The Prince and the Showgirl, which Marilyn shot in England in 1957.

Documenting the week Clark spent showing the actress around the country – days Marilyn reportedly spent away from her Hollywoood persona – the Simon Curtis-directed movie is already being tipped to be a 2011 hit.

And with a star studded cast that includes Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, Dominic Cooper, Judi Dench and Eddie Redmayne, we can certainly see why.

My Week With Marilyn hit screens on November 18.
