Mike Tyson reveals what happened when he created a comedy sketch about Fifty Shades of Grey

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie was gently mocked recently in a scene from the latest installment from comedy film franchise, Scary Movie with Mike Tyson taking a starring role alongside Ashley Tisdale and Jerry O’Connell.

Following the former boxer’s involvement in Scary Movie 5, he’s now spoken about the near to minimal research he underwent to get into character. Mike told The Metro US: ‘My wife reads that stuff, I don’t read that stuff. Yeah, I don’t want to read that stuff.’

But he, as with the rest of the world, can’t escape the Fifty Shades of Grey movie powers as he revealed his wife does speak about E.L. James’ hit books, so surely Mike absorbs something?

The producers of Scary Movie 5 aren’t the only ones to poke fun at Fifty Shades of Grey, a musical parody of the novels is taking to the stage in an Off-Broadway production that will feature plenty of dancing and put a new saucier spin on popular music.
