EXCLUSIVE! The British actor tells Marie Claire he’s not interested in the most hotly-desired part in Hollywood
Almost every actor imaginable has been linked to a role in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, but we can now most certainly rule Jeremy Irvine out as he tells Marie Claire online he’s not interested.
While he promoted his latest starring role, in a new remake of Great Expectations, Jeremy told us: ‘I haven’t read it [Fifty Shades of Grey] there’s a movie in the offering but no, I haven’t gone for it.’
When we asked why, he was suitably diplomatic adding: ‘I don’t know enough about it to be up for the part.’
His current director, Mike Newell, took a more jovial approach to things asking, ‘Is this a dirty book for Watford? It’s a strange thing.’
What do you think, would Jeremy would make a good Christian Grey? Let us know below.
