The singer, who has been best friends with the new mum since childhood, has confirmed that he will be godfather to Fearne Cotton’s baby. Speaking of the moment he was asked Kye told MailOnline: ‘I got a text from Fearne with a picture of Rex. It said, "I love you so much already, I want you to be my godfather."’

Kye appeared thrilled although somewhat stunned with his new job for Fearne Cotton’s baby adding: 'I don't know what exactly a godfather does but I'm definitely up for doing it. Rex is the cutest baby ever.'
