Emma Watson rocked the dress-over-trousers trend in London

Emma Watson likes to experiment with fashion and last night's screening of The Perks of Being a Wallflower was no exception.

The dresses over trousers trend has been trying to break through for a few seasons now. It was all over the spring/summer 2011 catwalks but, as yet, has not really broken through to mainstream fashion.

Until, perhaps, now. Emma, 22, made a bold style statement on the red carpet for the screening of her latest movie in London wearing a Dior strapless minidress which she wore over some tailored black trousers.

The Harry Potter star teamed her fashion forward look with some pointed stilettos and a Tiffany & Co. keys heart pendant.

Strong eyebrows, natural eye make-up and a slick of red lip completed the actress' beauty notes.

Earlier in the day, Emma arrived at Radio for an interview with Nick Grimshaw on his new breakfast show looking much more casual in black skinny jeans, a winter coat and specs.
