'The clothes we’re expected to fit into aren’t sizes, they’re samples'
Despite completely rocking the red carpet every single time she walks it, Elizabeth Olsen has admitted that she does not have a good time.
And why doesn’t she love the glitz, the glamour, the dahhling-ness of the whole thing? Well it’s because of her boobs and the fact that the clothes she’s given just don’t fit them.
In an interview with Allure magazine, the 27-year-old confessed: ‘The clothes we’re expected to fit into aren’t sizes, they’re samples. They’re not made for chicks with boobs, so I’m very self conscious about having them.’
Elizabeth who stars in The Captain America: Civil War, explained that it’s only away from the premieres and awards shows that she enjoys choosing clothes.
‘I have fun choosing an outfit for my best friend’s wedding, but not (something) I’m going to be judged in.’
It’s not just insecurity over her body that the actress has had to deal with, she’s also had to learn how to get over the fact that people will often compare her to her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
‘You know you’re going to be compared (with them) for the rest of your life,’ she says. ‘You grow up and get over it, and you love your family regardless.’
And despite growing up with sisters whose child stardom continued to adulthood, Elizabeth admits that she doesn’t understand or feel comfortable with celebrity.
‘Being a celebrity for not doing anything, I don’t understand that,’ she says. ‘I won’t go to certain restaurants because I don’t want to be photographed.’
