It's not the first time that Donald Trump has faced a week of backlash, and it probably (definitely) won't be the last, but the events of the last seven days have left the President of the United States in some very hot water. After labelling the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un, as 'rocket man' during a UN address, he was left red-faced when it surfaced that his administration had been using personal emails in The White House.
But thanks to some controversial new tapes, things have gone from bad to worse.
The leaked recordings in questions are Trump's conversations with radio host Howard Stern between 1993 and 2015.
One of the interviews was leaked anonymously to Factbase, and records Stern asking Trump if he has 'banged some of the greatest beauties on the planet.'
Trump replies: 'True. Some of the greats in history,' before joking that his secret to avoiding catching STD's is: 'I own 25 percent of Goodyear Tire and Rubber.'
When asked about meeting Melania, Trump says that he first set eyes on her at a party full of supermodels, and thought: 'That one's the most beautiful.'
He continued: 'Oh, she's in shape. You know — but she's naturally in shape. It's not a big work at all or anything, which is nicer, to be honest.
'You know, she's naturally in good shape. Absolutely. She's a very beautiful woman. Considered one of the great beauties of the world. So I don't know how I got her because, you know, beauty doesn't matter to me.'
Stern later asks Trump: 'Have you ever felt [Melania] up in public?'
'Yeah,' Trump responds, before continuing: 'I'm very well behaved, actually, and almost always I'm very down the middle.'
And he didn't stop there. He also went on to discuss the accent of his ex-wife, Ivana, who is from Czech Republic.
'Yes, [the accent] was amazing, and then one time I woke up that [sic] it was terrible, I couldn't stand it.' Trump says in transcripts obtained by Newsweek.
It's not the first time that leaked Trump tapes have surfaced. During his presidential campaign, tapes were released of Trump admitting to groping women and that as a 'star' he had the right to do 'whatever he wants.'
