The footballer and his family will be staying put in Los Angeles
After months of speculation, it's finally been confirmed that David Beckham won't be moving to Paris St-Germain.
The footballer has said that he doesn't want to uproot his LA-based family.
The French club's sporting director has revealed that Beckham won't be joining Paris St-Germain but will most likely sign a further two-year deal with LA Galaxy, rumoured to be worth around £5million a year.
He said told French sports news site L'Equipe: 'It's over. It's a shame. But the welfare of his family in Los Angeles, the wish not to change everything in his life, weighed heavily.'
The club's president, Nasser al-Khelaifi, added: 'We didn't reach an agreement – he's a great player, I met him and it's bad luck we didn't reach an agreement. We weren't far, but there are family issues and I think that was the reason. It was very difficult to move the family.'

LA Galaxy won last season's MLS championship and that's thought to have swayed Beckham's decision further.
There had previously been reports that the famous brood had been looking for apartments in the French capital but it looks like David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper are all staying put for now.
