  • The former X Factor judge will now join the panel on the reality modelling contest

She’s sat on the panel for a reality TV show before as a judge on the X Factor, and now Dannii Minogue is turning her hand to fashion and will join Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model.

The former pop star will appear alongside fellow Aussie Elle Macpherson and male model Tyson Beckford on the panel for next year’s show, according to the Sunday Mirror’s Dean Piper.

It’s understood that fashion designer Julien Macdonald and US TV star Whitney Port will not return for the ninth series of the modelling contest.

Minogue said: ‘I am brushing up on my model moves and with my highest platform heels on, I am excited to come face to face with (well, maybe look up to) the glamazons of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model 2013.’

Dannii was last seen on our TV screens back in 2010 when she was a judge on the X Factor alongside Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole. She then left the show after four series and headed back to her native Australia to appear on the panel of Australia’s Got Talent.
