Regina King won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk, and gave a touching speech thanking her mother and attributing her success to her.
'James Baldwin birthed this baby,' she said, adding: 'I'm an example of what it looks like when support and love is poured into someone. Mom, I love you so much.'
Before she addressed the crowd with her emotional acceptance speech, she was caught on camera getting up from her seat - and she shared a very sweet moment with actor Chris Evans.
As Regina began walking towards the stairs to collect her award, Chris stepped in to offer his arm for support as she rearranged her dress, walking her up the slippery steps - and Twitter is here for his act of chivalry.
'Hey @ChrisEvans you are a gentleman! #raisedwell,' Jamie Lee Curtis tweeted. 'And you look handsome AND well groomed! I just played his mother in a movie so I feel I can say that.'
'CHRIS EVANS HELPING REGINA KING UP IS THE BEST THING EVER, WHAT A GENTLEMAN!' one fan tweeted.

'I'm still not over this, where can I find a Chris Evans?' another asked.
'How do I tattoo Chris Evans helping Regina King to my chest?' a third added.
'Has Chris Evans' identity been completely taken over by Captain America?' a fourth said.
Could we love him any more?!
