The Gossip Girl leading man and Scream 4 starlet were spotted getting cosy at Elton John's Academy Award Viewing party, and while Tinseltown's biggest awards may have been going on in the background, the pair apparently seemed far more interested in each other.

A source revealed to UsMagazine.com that Crawford, 25, and Roberts, 20, repeatedly stepped out together for smoking breaks and were even spotted holding hands when leaving for the next party on the circuit.

An onlooker told the site, 'Emma is clearly smitten with Chace. They weren't making out, but you could tell they had a definite chemistry and were into one another.'
