'I love him too much,' she gushed in a new interview
She’s gone to great lengths to keep her romance with Alex Rodriguez firmly under wraps – with some even suggesting a reunion with Justin Timberlake could be on the cards. But yesterday Cameron Diaz finally told all on her budding relationship, gushing about her love for the American sporting star.
The usually private actress was appearing on David Letterman’s high profile Late Show to promote new movie Bad Teacher, when she decided to spill the beans.
Cameron has been snapped in public with her new leading man just a handful of times since they began dating last year, so it came as a great surprise to see the pair indulging in an affectionate PDA at the Super Bowl earlier this year.
The loved up lady was spotted cosying up to Alex, even feeding her man popcorn as they watched a match from a box at the Miami Dolphins stadium.
When quizzed on the famous photos, Cam joked she rarely allows people to steal her snacks, but made an exception for Alex, as she loves him ‘too much’.
‘We were watching the game, and I was eating, and I was getting down to, like, thelast couple pieces of popcorn,' Diaz recalled, of the now famous photos.
'And all of a sudden, I see his hand coming in,' she said of the baseball player.
'Anybody who knows me does not put their hand in my food, especially when it's close to my mouth.
‘I said, “What are you. . . ?” And then I went, “You know what? I love you too much, I'm going to give it to you. You deserve it.”
