Britney Spears has fallen for a backing singer on her Circus tour who looks like her ex-husband

Britney Spears has wasted no time in getting back into the swing of single life on her worldwide Circus tour.

She is said to have a major crush on a backing danger who bears a striking resemblance to her ex-husband Kevin Ferderline.

The pop princess has singled out ‘deeply religious’ Chase Benz as potential boyfriend material.

‘She loves everything about him. She is attracted to him because he’s sweet, southern Christian, comes from a great family and is a great dancer,’ a mole on the tour told Heat magazine.

But the dancer’s mother has put a stop to Britney’s romantic plans – not least because Chase already has a girlfriend.

‘He’s a young man – he doesn’t want that kind of lifestyle. He’s a good kid: the real deal, and very mature for his age,’ says mum Diane.

‘He’s been brought up in the Bible belt – he just happens to be a good dancer. We’re a deeply religious family, and family is important for us.’

It’s not the first time Britney’s fallen for the wrong man on her current tour.

Last month she was caught canoodling with another dancer in the glamorous location of the backstage toilets.

After her Montreal gig, a witness said he saw Britney and the dancer enter the loos and 'seven or nine minutes later, Brit and the guy came out together'.

What would Daddy Spears say?!

The singer is also reportedly still in contact with her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Her father is so worried about the paparazzi photographer’s influence over Britney, that he has taken out a restraining order against Ghalib.

Oh Britney. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde: one backing dancer is a misfortune, but two looks like you couldn’t care less…
