Mum-to-be Beyonce has admitted her and hubby Jay Z found it hard to keep the pregnancy secret, especially when she has found performing exhausting.

BEYONCE'S PREGNANCY STYLE PARADE

With the baby due in February, Beyonce's bump is completely undeniable - but, back in mid-August, when the superstar's pregnancy was still a secret, she worried the signs were already obvious.

Before announcing that her and Jay Z were expecting their first child at the MTV VMA's at the end of August, Beyonce had performed four sold-out, intimate gigs and strutted her stuff in a short, sequinned mini-dress with a strategically placed bib over her tiny belly.

'The whole time I definitely was thinking, "Everyone knows, everyone can see,"' Beyonce said on-stage Sunday night at her special screening for her concert DVD 'Live at Roseland', documenting those four shows.

Even though the concerts were small, and Beyonce was only three-months pregnant, the songstress admitted they were exhausting to do as her body hadn't adjusted yet.

'When you're pregnant, it's a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time,' said Beyonce, who dressed up her increasingly huge bump in a brown and gold Roberto Cavalli gown.

The 30-year-old singer also admitted that it was difficult for her and husband, rapper Jay-Z, to hide her bump from the public, saying they didn't do a good job of concealing the happy news.

Bey revealed she and Jay Z wanted some time to prepare for their new child privately, but said, 'Jay Z and I didn't do a good job hiding pregnancy!'

The Love on Top singer also explained she booked the quartet of shows at the tiny venue because, what with the baby on the way, the concerts would be her only opportunity in 2011 to perform songs from her 4 album for fans.

The beaming expectant mum said she also hopes the DVD will be a great memento for the child, featuring tons of home footage from rehearsals, Beyonce's childhood, and even a glimpse of her top-secret wedding gown.

'[I hope he or she will say] I can't believe I was in that belly!' joked the star.
