Beyonce confirms pregnancy!

'I have a surprise,' the proud starlet told reporters at the MTV Video Music Awards, as she debuted a tiny baby bump

Super-songstress Beyonce has revealed she is expecting her first child with rap star hubby Jay-Z.

The beaming expectant mum announced her baby news to hoards of delighted press and fans at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, cradling her tiny baby bump on the red carpet and revealing 'I have a surprise!'

Dressed in a flowing orange Lanvin gown, Bey's blossoming bump was just visible as she posed for photographers, before being helped to her seat at the prestigious LA ceremony.

And after cheering on hubby Jay-Z, who performed his latest hit Otis with pal Kanye West, the delighted starlet showed off her blooming bump once again, taking to the stage to perform Love on Top.

Stepping out in a dazzling sequinned ensemble, Bey ripped open her jacket to show of her full new figure, telling fans: 'I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me.'

Meanwhile, proud dad-to-be Jay-Z was congratulated by pals in the audience, and was spied smiling and dancing during his expectant wife's performance.

Earlier this year Beyonce - who married Jay-Z in a secret ceremony in 2008 - hinted we could soon hear the patter of tiny Knowles feet, telling Brit star Piers Morgan: 'I always said I was going to have a baby at 30. I'm 29 now.'
