Beyoncé Knowles' publicist asks for news websites to take down 'unflattering' photographs of the singer performing at the Superbowl

Beyoncé's publicist tries to get 'unflattering' photos of the superstar during her half-time Superbowl performance taken down, but in doing so causes an even bigger wave of hype.

We're sure Beyoncé's publicist knows a great deal about publicity, but maybe not so much about the the internet.

Upon seeing the said photos on BuzzFeed.com, the singer's people sent an email requesting that they be taken down, writing:

'Thanks for taking my call. As discussed, there are some unflattering photos on your current feed that we are respectfully asking you to change. I am certain you will be able to find some better photos.

'The worst are #5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19 and 22. Thank you very much.'

This then meant that the photographs of an energetic Bey doing her thing during an incredibly strenuous performance went viral, shattering the illusion that Beyoncé is an other worldly being and never looks anything less than perfect.

She's just like us after all! Sort of.
