Beckhams edge closer to Paris move

It looks like the Beckhams could be moving to the French capital in January

David Beckham's move to Paris is looking more and more likely, according to reports in the French press.

Le Parisien newspaper has printed a story stating that the footballer, who currently plays for LA Galaxy, will be playing for Paris St Germain as soon as January 2012.

The paper reports that after months of negotiations, Beckham has finally agreed upon a one-and-a-half year contract.

The article reads: 'Its done! After four months of negotiation, the capital's club has just received an agreement in principal from David Beckham for the signature of a contract of one-and-a-half years.

'He will sign the document next January.'

The reports are yet to be confirmed by the 36-year-old's management, XIX Entertainment.

In a statement, they said: 'No agreement has been reached with any club, talks of a deal are premature. David has yet to make a final decision on his future.'

It will be a big upheaval for the Beckham brood and especially Victoria, who's made no secret of her love for the LA lifestyle.
