Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are rumoured to be relocating to Johannesburg for eight months while the actor shoots his new movie with George Clooney

Angelina Jolie is reportedly getting set to relocate the Jolie-Pitt brood to South Africa later this year while fiancé Brad Pitt works on his latest film.

Hollywood’s hottest power couple will reportedly be making Johannesburg their home for eight months, while the actor shoots a new blockbuster with close friend and colleague George Clooney.

Brad and Angelina, who have six children together, are expected to pay R85,000 (around £4,600) a month to rent a mansion in the luxurious Sandhurst suburb in Sandton.

'The private rent agreement will be for eight months and will cost the couple R680 000 (£37,000) for the full period,' African newspaper Beeld reported.

It won't be the couple's first stay in the region – in 2006, the 38-year-old Salt actress travelled to the city of Swakopmund in neighbouring Namibia to give birth to her and Brad's first biological child, daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

At the time, Namibian police and private bodyguards mounted tight security to shield them from prying eyes, with the country later offering the baby girl Namibian citizenship.

No details about Brad and George's latest project have been released yet, with film insiders keeping a close lid on the Hollywood pals' exciting new venture.

We'd move half way across the globe for Brad, too. No question.
