Andy Murray marked his incredible US Open victory with a romantic meal shared with his long-term girlfriend, Kim Sears. And the celebrations won’t end there as a predicted £100 million is coming his way…
Fresh from Monday’s sporting triumph, Andy Murray and Kim Sears dined at New York’s Hakkasan restaurant looking suitably loved up.
Kim sipped on champagne while her tennis pro beau stuck to soft drinks.
Along with his entourage, Andy Murray ran up a reported £4,000 bill at the venue’s Ling Ling bar as the celebrations kicked in, before it was back to work at a photocall in Central Park yesterday morning.
Andy’s victory against Novak Djokovic has awarded him an impressive £1.2 million in prize money alone but his summer of success will see his finances soar.
After winning the US Open and an Olympic gold medal it’s believed international sponsors will begin vying for Andy’s attention, with interest from huge global brands such as Visa and Coco-Cola.
New sponsorship deals for the sportsman will add to his existing portfolio of deals from the likes of Adidas, Royal Bank of Scotland, Head racquets and Jaguar, which already net him the tidy sum of £24 million according to The Sunday Times Sport Rich List.
