After Miranda Kerr’s weekend nuptials, the Victoria’s Secret angels are marrying off one by one and the next in line seems to be Adriana Lima. The Brazilian model posted an Instagram yesterday of herself with a finger pressed to her lips, flashing a gorgeous engagement ring at the camera.

And who’s the lucky fella? None other than Adriana Lima herself.

She captioned the image, ‘WHATS UP WITH THE RING? ITS SYMBOLIC, I AM COMMITTED TO MYSELF AND MY OWN HAPPINESS I AM MARRIED WITH ME’

The mother of two is probably relishing the single life after her messy fling with Mets player Matt Harvey last month. The former flames had been linked for a couple of months, but after Matt saw tabloid images of Adriana at Rihanna’s Met Gala after party with her ex-boyfriend and football star Julian Edelmen, he had a drunken meltdown.

The baseball player stayed out past curfew and wound up missing a game, for which he was suspended for a further three games and then fined USD$82,219 as a result. The backlash against Adriana from diehard Mets fans wasn’t a pretty sight.

We’re so glad to see she’s overcome that and still slaying the game though, wowing paps at high profile events like the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes in runway-ready outfits. We can all probably take a leaf or two out of Adriana’s book - work hard, serve face and love yourself.
