Adele made her all-important trip to Buckingham Palace today as she collected her MBE from Prince Charles.

Stepping out in a stunning embossed dress by Stella McCartney, the Someone Like You singer couldn’t hold back her giggles as she was honoured with the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Recognised for her services to the music industry, Adele opted for her signature sixties-inspired look in the structured frock.

She accessorised her very special ensemble with a glitzy fascinator, lace veil and, of course, her go-to beehive.

The Tottenham-born star and mum-of-one will now be known as Miss Adele Adkins MBE. Which she adds to a ever-growing list of industry accolades, including nine Grammys and an Oscar for her James Bond theme song, Skyfall.

Still just 25, Adele’s second album topped the charts in 30 different countries and was last week named the best-selling album of all time by Amazon.

There’s really no end to Adele’s success!
