Liv Tyler turns pop star for new Givenchy perfume ad

Her father’s the front man of Aerosmith so rock ‘n’ roll is obviously in the genes, but until now Liv Tyler has never fully shown off her musical abilities.

But as the current face of Givenchy fragrance and beauty, the American actress has turned pop star to perform INXS' Need You Tonight in a one-off promo video for the latest Very Irresistible scent, Electric Rose – which hits stores from 7th March.

The arty black and white video, shot by Swedish director Johan Renck, shows Liv wearing a series of edgy black outfits by the French fashion label as she huskily sings an electronic reworking of the Australian band’s most famous hit.

Liv pouts those famous pillow lips, flicks her long dark hair and stares seductively into the camera like a pop star pro alongside a clutch of male dancers wearing fetish-inspired PVC trousers.
