The singer vamps up her look in dramatic black and white pictures for latest ghd campaign

Katy Perry channels old school glamour in a series of striking black and white images shot by renowned fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth in her latest ghd campaign.

As ghd's global brand ambassador we've seen Katy in various colourful campaigns, but these new photos of the superstar are more stylish and classic than we've ever seen before.

'It was fun to go a more natural route after playing characters in my last ghd campaign,' said Katy. 'Ellen von Unwerth captured both the playful and chic looks amazingly well.'

Shot in LA by legendary photographer Ellen at the end of the singer's world tour, we love Katy's sophisticated and chic look in the elegant images.

'Our new campaign brings the ghd brand promise of a ‘good hair day, every day’ to life,' said Paul Stoneham, chief executive officer for ghd.
