Jennifer Aniston's longterm hairstylist, Chris McMillan, has revealed the inspiration behind the bob that got the world talking this week, revealing it was simply 'just time for a change.'
The hair guru told Allure: 'We had a blast doing it, and we've always liked this haircut. It's about keeping things simple.'
So how about if you want an Aniston bob? Ask your hairdresser for 'a hairline bob that follows the jawline down. It's shortened in back and longer in front,' Macmillan describes.
He added that inspiration came from catwalk looks at Celine and YSL, stating 'I’m loving bobs again. It’s a sexy look.'
As for the colour, Macmillan confirmed that the actress hadn't gone lighter, 'It's so funny. This is something that happens all the time: Whenever I cut someone's hair, they say, 'My color looks so much better. The color kind of freshens up when you get a drastic haircut.'
