The actress will be the poster girl for the brand as it continues its expansion in the US
She's one of the stars of TV's hottest new show, and now Girls actress Allison Williams has landed her first big ad campaign as the new face of Simple Skincare.
The 24-year-old, who plays Marnie Michaels in the hit HBO series, has already shot a TV commercial in Los Angeles for the British beauty brand, which launched in the US last year and is a firm favourite with shoppers thanks to its skin-friendly products.

Williams told People magazine: 'I do have sensitive skin, actually, and it’s been really hard to find products that don’t make it inflamed, or red or dry, or make it break out. It’s really complicated, but I’ve learned that it’s the case for more people than not. I don’t know how many people have unproblematic skin – that’s rare.'
She went on to explain how 'stress, make-up artists, weather and pollution' can cause problems for an actress' skin. She says: 'The great thing about Simple products is that they protect you against those things – you can wipe it all off at the end of the day.'
