Lufthansa is going to launch cheap flights to 'surprise' destinations

The question is, how much do you like surprises?

I don't know about you but I like to mentally pack for a holiday before I've even booked it.

I won't just take the weather into consideration, I'll even think about whether the place I'm going to has a cobblestoned streets (because then I'm definitely not taking heels) and what the general vibe will be like there.

So, the thought of booking an unknown destination slightly gives me the shivers.

But considering most of us suffer from indecision fatigue with everyone spending an average of three years of their lives making decisions, maybe taking that element out would actually allow us to get holiday relaxed way earlier?

German airline Lufthansa are launching their 'Lufthansa Surprise' where you can choose from nine holiday style categories including partying, romance, nature, and yes, even, bromance, and you pay the low fare before finding out that you're off to Madrid, Rome, Paris or less popular destinations like Warsaw in Poland, Turin in Italy or Izmir in Turkey.

This is an exciting holiday booking hack considering that Ryanair have recently introduced cheap flights to NYC and there's a way you can even buy flight upgrades for cheap now too.

And if there's anywhere on Lufthansa's list you definitely don't want to go, you can opt out of them - but it's worth noting that being this selective will drive up your cost because, as the site says: 'the more flexible you are, the cheaper your flight.' And unsurprisingly, there's a no refunds policy.

But, at the moment, these flights only depart from Munich and Frankfurt, so could be a fun addition to a German city break
