Think warm, earthy tones, mustard yellows and tribal reds mixed with carved wooden objects and Moroccan-style brass accessories, guaranteed to feed your inner travel bug.
'For the Hinterland collection we looked at mark-making techniques to create patterns on home accessories and textiles,' says textiles designer Sam Burrows, who works for Sainsbury's in-house design team. We‘ve also spotted influences of Aztec art, quilting and woven works in the collection.
Featuring tribal prints and natural materials, the new collection is influenced by African and South American traditional crafts.
Luckily for you, the only journey you need to make is to your nearest Sainsbury‘s store stocking homeware – amen. Just be sure to stock up on cacti and succulents to complete to the lush, exotic vibe.
