There's now a lipstick for your vagina (yes, really)

Is this real life?

Is this real life?

If you were fooled into thinking that because it's 2017, horrendously unnecessary 'feminine hygiene' products were a thing of that past, we've got some great news for you - you're wrong!

Remember a few weeks ago when Mensez came on the scene? You know, the glue that quite literally seals your labia shut so that your period can be contained inside of you? Goodbye, problematic periods! Forget tampons, sanitary towels and moon cups! What you really need is to just keep it all in and act like it's not happening. Why didn't we think of that before?

And now, there is another great vaginal beauty product on the market (lucky us!) that promises the smooth labia you've always dreamed of.

V Magic have created a chapstick for your vulva called Feminine Lips Stick, promising a 100% natural product that is free of dyes, fragrances, hormones, steroids, petroleum and parabens.

Anyone experiencing dryness in their nether region can use this to soothe the skin in this delicate area, as the tagline reminds us: 'Your other lips get chapped too!'

According to the website, it solves discomfort, moisturises, and deodorises simultaneously. Great! It's also good for 'intimate activity', apparently, and 'works like magic before, during and after' sex - which is really lucky, because all we can think about when we're mid-Tinder hook-up is whether or not our vaginas are velvety and honey-tasting.

Do you really need this product? No. Can it actually soothe any dryness you might have? Maybe. But it's also worth noting that you should be vigilant with any product you use on or around your vagina, as even products using natural ingredients can affect a healthy PH balance and lead to infection.

So if you do have a sore, dry labia, it is worth visiting your GP for medical advice before paying out £15 for a vaginal lip stick.
