The Autumn Cocktails To Try Now

It's time to put the Pimm's away, people (sob) – Autumn is officially here. But to celebrate London Cocktail Week from 6 to 12 October, we've rounded up the capital's most delicious new concoctions to try now.

Beer gardens may have had their time in the sun, but here are 6 reasons to get excited about venturing into the warm for a few drinks…

Stout Flip at Reverend JW Simpson

The Goodge Street bar is pairing its new selection of cocktails with delicious sweet and savoury snacks every Monday. Try the Stout Flip, a wintery mix of Bourbon and Irish Stout with a dash of sugar, a whole egg and a dusting of flamed nutmeg. It comes with some melt-in-your-mouth grilled cheese toasties on the side.

London’s Burning at The Anthologist

Get ready for Guy Fawkes Night with a warming cocktail that comes with its very own cinnamon bonfire. This City-based bar’s mixologists have added a fiery kick to their delicious mix of Mescal, Kamm & Sons and peach bitters with a dash of smoked sugar.

Blood at Oblix

Enjoy panoramic views over London while sipping on Oblix’s new Blood cocktail, a seasonal punch that’s crafted by slow-cooking spiced wine in fruits and herbs, and mixing it with premium rum and gin. Topped off with a sprinkle of cinnamon, you can almost taste Christmas on the horizon.

Rye Me To The Moon at Callooh Callay

Get cosy with this comforting blend of bay leaf syrup and amontillado sherry. It has a nutty finish that’s perfect for the cooler months.

The Beet Me Up at Basement Sate

Cool new Soho cocktail and dessert bar Basement Sate has an impressive array of blends on offer, including The Beet Me Up, a nice and autumnal blend of vodka, beetroot, Moscato d’Asti and warming ginger.

The Milky Way at Barsmith
This new Farringdon-based venue specialises in house-infused spirits and cocktails. Try The Milky Way, a decadent blend of white chocolate vodka, coffee rum and organic cream that has all the appeal of a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
