38 new ways to wear denim this season...

Usually, a catwalk trend would divide the Marie Claire office in an opinion poll - to buy, or to bypass? But this season s denim trend has made us all fans.

There s no fabric more crucial to our wardrobes than denim. Whether we re getting ready for weekend brunch or putting together the perfect casual Friday outfit, denim is essentially always incorporated in some shape or form.

But what denim pieces should you have in your arsenal to ensure your closet is ready for anything? FYI, we re talking beyond skinny jeans and the classic denim jacket (which we know you already have).

The days when denim was solely reserved for the weekend or dress-down Fridays or are no-more. It s been revamped, reinvented, re-stitched and re-dyed within an inch of its life. And the result? Some seriously covetable new season buys for our current, our trans-seasonal and even our next season wardrobes.

In every store right now you ll find an abundance of the blue stuff making it not only suitable for your budget but also means there s a wide range of choice. Whether you re a distressed or dressed-up denim kind of girl, there s something in this edit for you.
