The new Primark collection that you'll want to shop ASAP
EVERYTHING hitting stores this week
EVERYTHING hitting stores this week
I know I've banged on before about how great the new Primark SS18 collection is, but that's because it really, really is.
Here's a sneak preview of what's launching in stores over the next few weeks, and trust me when I saw you'll be able to tick ALL the SS18 trend boxes without so much as a dent in your wallet, which is the best kind of shopping really.
Bold stripes
Deck chair stripes are back in for SS18, but with a chic twist. Think red and white dresses, and oversized blue shirts, which will go very nicely indeed with the denim flares Primark is serving up for Spring.
Athleisure buys
If you missed out on the athleisure trend the first time round, then I have good news for you, in the form of bold red and white sweatshirts, utilitarian trainers and white ankle boots.
Statement accessories
Don't ditch the statement earrings just yet as they're still a major trend for SS18. I'm loving the tassel earrings that will elevate a basic white shirt now, and a floaty summer dress later.
Primark's bag game is strong too, with bright red Céline dupe bags and chic navy backpacks that mix practicality and style.

Floral prints
Some might say florals for spring aren't very groundbreaking (let's be honest, it's everyone's favourite quote from Devil Wears Prada), but you know what? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That said, the high street store has hit refresh on the trend with some lace inserts and interesting colour-ways so it would be a shame not to embrace them.
Now we know it's annoying that you can't shop Primark online (though there's a good reason for it), but you can nonetheless have a little browse of the new collection below, if only to mentally prepare your shopping list.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.
Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).
Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.
However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.
Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
