The BAFTA Awards 2016 red carpet officially got underway on the most romantic of days, Valentine's Day.
Managing to evade the usual British downpour of rain on the night, the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden played (albeit a very chilly) host to the great and the good of Hollywood as they turned out to support their respective films at the biggest and glitziest night in the British cinematic calendar.
