Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Last month we were treated to the official Mary Poppins Returns trailer, and it made us nostalgic AF.

We've been waiting for snippets of the sequel for well over a year now, and we'll finally be able to feast our eyes on the finished film come December.

With appearances from Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and even Julie Andrews herself, it's sure to be an epic imagining of life chez Banks after Mary's departure at the end of the original film.

And now, much to our delight, Disney has decided to release a second trailer - this time giving us a special look at what's to come. It even teases new music, and to be honest we cannot wait to get ourselves to the cinema.

During the trailer, we're treated to a sneak peak of the upcoming movie as well as the sounds of some new songs. One in particular, called Can You Imagine That? plays throughout, and it sounds just perfect.

We also see Mary and the children swimming with dolphins and living their best lives in a technicolour cartoon world.

Fans will be rejoining the Banks family, rather than reliving the original, with the magical nanny returning to a now grown-up Michael Banks and his three children.

The synopsis reads: 'Set in 1930s London, which is the time period of the original novels by P.L. Travers.

'The story follows Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane Banks (Emily Mortimer), who are now grown up. Michael is living with his three children (Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh, and Joel Dawson) and housekeeper Ellen (Julie Walters), in the house on Cherry Tree Lane.

'After Michael has a personal loss, Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) comes back into the lives of the Banks family. She is joined by a street lamplighter named Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda), and an eccentric cousin named Topsy (Meryl Streep).'

Mary Poppins Returns hits cinemas on December 19th.

We are SO ready.
