After unanswered calls for a reboot of the CW show, we had all given up hope, but today the news we have all been waiting for finally arrived.
Gossip Girl is coming back.

CW President Mark Pedowitz set rumours alight earlier this year after telling reporters that there was a discussion going on, explaining that it would be up to the show’s executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
Then this week the reunion was confirmed, with WarnerMedia’s new streaming network HBO Max planning a series of 10 one-hour episodes.
The upcoming reboot is set to take place eight years after the GG finale, but whether it will feature any of the original cast members is not yet known.
