Suits fans are saddened by Meghan's answer to a question about the show

Meghan Markle has taken to her role as a royal so well that it's hard to remember a time when she wasn't Duchess of Sussex.

That's right. Before the speeches, royal tours and ribbon cuttings, Meghan was of course a Hollywood actress, featuring in a number of high profile films.

Her most famous role however was in the show Suits, where she starred as Rachel Zane, for seven seasons, leaving the US TV series this year as she became a royal.

Fans of the show comforted themselves with the fact that although the show lost a royal star, it could have gained a royal fan. But in recent news it turns out that this might not be the case.

While attending the Coach Core Awards this week with Prince Harry, Meghan was reportedly asked by 20-year-old identical twins Luke and Elliott Rainbird whether she is watching the new season of the show, since Katherine Heigl has replaced her.

Sadly, for well, everyone, it looks like it's a no.

According to People, the Duchess of Sussex answered no 'before turning the conversation back to Coach core'.

While we're all sad that Meghan has well and truly moved on from her Suits days, we can't blame her - she probably has no time given her new royal duties!
