The Queen is preparing Kate Middleton for this important role
And we love their friendship!!
And we love their friendship!!
Over the past few months, the world has been focused on Queen Elizabeth’s budding friendship with her new granddaughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, with the two seemingly becoming very close.
They share jewellery, travel on the royal train together, and are said to bond over their love of dogs.
But in focusing on that, everyone has completely overlooked the Queen’s sweet relationship with the Duchess of Cambridge.
This week however, the world was reminded of the two women’s closeness as they travelled together by car to attend a service at Crathie Church in Balmoral, Scotland. Not only were the two women travelling together, but Kate was wearing a pair of earrings from the Queen’s personal jewellery collection - a sweet gift from the Queen herself.
There's no competition though - according to sources, the monarch has a different relationship with her two granddaughters-in-law.
While she seems to have taken it upon herself to gently introduce Meghan to royal etiquette, she appears to be giving Kate the more advanced lessons, preparing her for a very important role - the Queen of England.

‘There’s no training course per se to become a queen,’ explained Emily Nash, royal correspondent for Hello! Magazine. ‘But obviously Her Majesty has years of experience that she can share.’
Well, Kate certainly seems to be in good hands! We love this friendship.
