This is too much.

The Cambridges are one of the most talked-about families in the world, but while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spend the most time in front of the cameras, it’s their children that really steal the limelight.

From Prince Louis’ cheeky grin and Prince George’s secret nickname to Princess Charlotte’s signature sass, these toddlers never fail to make news.

Last week, the youngest Cambridge melted hearts as Prince William and Kate Middleton released portraits of their son ahead of his first birthday. And today, it was Princess Charlotte who followed suit.

Yes, to mark Charlotte’s fourth birthday, the Duke and Duchess released new photographs of her, and they are the sweetest thing you will see all day.

‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday,’ the Cambridges announced in a statement. ‘The photographs were taken in April by The Duchess at Kensington Palace and their home in Norfolk.’

‘Happy Birthday Princes Charlotte!’, read the next caption, while the final post read, ’Thank you for the lovely messages for Princess Charlotte’s fourth birthday!’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex who are expecting their own little one any day now were quick to comment, posting their well wishes to the miniature Princess.

‘Happy Birthday Charlotte! Lots of love, H and M xo’, the expectant couple commented, accompanied by a birthday cake and a balloon emoji.

We hope Princess Charlotte had a very special day!
