Prince William has officially explained how he got his ‘Harry Potter scar’
So, that means Eton = Hogwarts?
So, that means Eton = Hogwarts?
Since Harry and Meghan’s fairytale nuptials, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have taken a backseat publicity-wise (seriously, we even know the bedtime rule that Meghan Markle has to follow now).
But as of this week, Prince William is back in the spotlight, thanks to a forehead scar that bears a striking resemblance to the one sported by everyone’s favourite wizard, Harry Potter. The scar has been there for a while, but with the news of Kate Middleton’s own 3-inch scar on her forehead, Wills’ facial features have come under particular scrutiny.
But what caused the scar? An unforgiveable curse? An unimpressed corgi?
It turns out it was sporting accident, which William opened up about on children’s TV show Newsround in 2009: ‘That was for my Harry Potter scar, as I call it, just here. I call it that because it glows sometimes and some people notice it - other times they don't notice it at all.’
He went on, ‘I got hit by a golf club when I was playing golf with a friend of mine. Yeah, we were on a putting green and the next thing you know there was a seven-iron and it came out of nowhere and it hit me in the head.’
So, now we know that Prince William has a Harry Potter scar that also *glows*?
