Prince William was quick to congratulate his brother, stating: ‘We’re absolutely thrilled and looking forward to seeing him in the next few days when he’s quietened down,’ next to a beaming Kate.

He continued: ‘I’m very pleased to welcome my own brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting'.

And it seems that Wills is right, with Prince Harry confirming to reporters before his on-camera interview via ITV that he hadn’t been sleeping.

‘I’ve had about two hours’ sleep’ he announced.

Congratulations again to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
