Even Mick Jagger joined them…

The Duchess of Cambridge‘s past few months have undoubtedly been busier than most – royal weddings, royal birthdays and of course giving birth to her own baby son, Prince Louis, who arrived in April - yep, that’s less than four months ago.

The world breathed a huge sigh of relief therefore, when it was reported that Prince William had whisked his wife off to the Caribbean island of Mustique for a much-deserved holiday with their three children and the extended Middleton family - from Michael and Carole to Pippa and her new hubby James Matthews.

But it wasn’t just watersports and family time for the Cambridges, with Kate and Wills seeming to also take some time for just the two of them, spotted out dancing on a Mustique date night just this week - a rarity for any couple with three children under the age of five - especially a Duke and Duchess.

That’s right, the couple attended a party at the island’s famous Basil’s Bar, hosted by their good friend and founder, Basil Charles, with the theme of the evening being ‘A Splash of Gold’.

‘They were there for the cocktails segment and kept it rather classy,’ a fellow partygoer reportedly told HELLO!, before explaining that the couple dressed in ‘island chic’ and attended ‘on the early side’, with Mick Jagger and family also in attendance.

The Caribbean island is a favourite of the royals and celebrities, operating a no fly over policy, with Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton reportedly vacationing there most years.

It’s not the first time Kate and Wills have joined the Middletons in the Caribbean, spending some time in Mustique before Princess Charlotte’s birth in 2015, and while Kate was pregnant with Prince George in 2013.

And to make their first holiday as a family of five even more special, Prince George turned five last week, so there are sure to have been lots of tropical celebrations for the prince.

Wishing the Cambridges a happy holiday – please send photos.
