No, it wasn’t anything to do with coffee…

Game of Thrones season eight is officially here and we’re obsessed.

Our days are now dominated by Westeros news and updates, from the emergence of the teaser trailer to theories about who is going to end up on the iron throne.

Now with one episode left - our interest is at an all time peak - this writer even sat down with a Game of Thrones tutor to learn High Valyrian, Daenerys Targaryen’s mother tongue.

Something unexpected that has dominated headlines since season eight however is Game of Thrones blunders, with eagle-eyed viewers delighting in finding mistakes.

The Starbucks cup in season 8 episode 4 will undoubtedly go down as the most surprising, with a latte visible in front of Emilia Clarke at the banquet of champions.

When viewers sat down for the penultimate episode therefore, they looked out for coffee chains products, but instead found a different error - and it’s all to do with Jaime Lannister.

Well, rather his hand, which appeared to miraculously grow back for his final scene.

Jaime’s right hand was chopped off back in season three, with the character wearing a fake golden hand in its place.

In Cersei and Jaime’s final scene however, as the couple embraced in their final moments, his right hand can be seen holding Cersei’s back.

Editing failure or part of the story arc? You decide.

‘I guess Jaime forgot about having his right hand cut off,’ tweeted one viewer, while another wrote: ‘You had one job #GameofThrones. How did my man Jaime grow his right hand back?’

What on earth is to come in the final episode??
