Despite filing for divorce 44 months ago, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s separation has been a messy one, with the former couple taking their custody battle to court.
And while Angelina originally filed for primary physical custody of their six children back in 2016, it is reported that they are working towards 50-50 joint custody.
But it wasn’t their custody plans that got the world talking this week. Instead, it was the rumours that Brad was dating someone new, Academy Award winner Charlize Theron.
Yes, two years after he announced his divorce from Jolie, it has been reported that Brad and Charlize are a thing, introduced by mutual friend (and Charlize’s ex) Sean Penn.
‘They have been casually seeing each other for nearly a month now,’ a source reportedly told The Sun. ‘They’ve been friends for some time - ironically through Sean - but things have developed.’
A recent source however has rubbished the rumours, insisting via PEOPLE that while the two actors did meet six months ago on a shoot for watch brand, Breitling, they were never romantically involved.
According to the source, Brad and Charlize ‘did a shoot together six months ago. They have not been out together recently, and were never dating. Reports of them being involved romantically are false.’
