Poor old Kristen Stewart. While the Twilight starlet was lucky enough to bag herself a ticket to the Oscars, and an invitation to present an award on stage, it seems she wasn't quite feeling herself last night.

The actress arrived at the Academy Awards in a stunning blush Reem Acra dress, accessorised with crutches.

The Breaking Dawn beauty drew worried glances as she hobbled up the red carpet, flanked by her assistant and publicist.

But despite several reporters quizzing her about her injuries, we were still none the wiser.

Even Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence stopped off as she walked up the red carpet to see if Kristen was ok.

'Hey, what happened, Dude?,' the Silver Linings Playbook starlet asked when she spotted Kristen hobbling.

Later, as Kristen prepared to join Daniel Radcliffe to present an award on stage, Anne Hathaway asked if she would be taking her crutches.

'Nope. I’m gonna hobble,' she said, to which Anne replied: 'Well, break a leg. Oops.'

So what actually happened?

According to Kristen's make-up artist, Beau Nelson, the star injured her foot last week.

She told American magazine People that Kristen 'cut the ball of her foot, quite severely, on glass two days ago,' adding the injury sent her stylists into a panic as they struggled to find suitable flats.

Oh dear.

While Kristen hobbled up the Oscars red carpet, her on-off boyfriend Robert Pattinson was nowhere to be seen.

The actor is currently filming new flick The Rover, amid rumours he and Kristen are to announce their split after the Twilight Breaking Dawn DVDs have gone on sale.
