Blake Lively has chosen three of her former co-stars as joint godmothers to her new baby girl James – the ultimate sisterhood, if you will.

That’s right, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel, who all starred alongside Blake in her breakthrough teen movie, 2005’s The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants, will all watch over the baby for the rest of all time. Amazing.

‘You're still very close with your...co-stars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively's baby - is that a fact?’ Amber Tamblyn was asked during an interview with Morning Buzz Live.

‘Yes that is a fact,’ the Two And A Half Men actress confirmed before the live audience went bananas, of course.

Proving that the Sisterhood is still oh so strong, the BFFs regularly post lots of a gorgeous reunion selfies together and all support each other’s new projects, always with the hashtag #SISTERHOOD, naturally.

The first of the two teen films came out a decade a go now and each starlet has achieved lots of success on their own since, with Blake owning the Gossip Girl series, America on Ugly Betty and Alexis leading the cast of the Gilmore Girls.

After becoming parents for the first time at the start of this year, Blake and husband Ryan Reynolds have kept details about their new arrival relatively private, except for a few brilliant comments that Ryan has made in interviews.

'I used to say to [Blake], ‘I would take a bullet for you,’’ he joked to US chat show host David Letterman. ‘I could never love anything as much as I love you.’ I would say that to my wife. And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby.'
