EXCLUSIVE: Keira Knightley tells Marie Claire about what she wants on her big day

Keira Knightley is fiercely protective when it comes to her private life, but when Marie Claire caught up with the star she couldn’t help but hint at the modest wedding she’s keen to have when she does tie the knot with fiancé James Righton. KEIRA KNIGHTLEY ON HER UNSTABLE CHILDHOOD

‘I could have six fake weddings,’ Keira Knightley tells us. ‘God, that would be expensive.’ But it’s not the cost of the big white wedding that the star is keen to avoid, she reveals the day itself isn’t the part that matters to her.

Keira tells us: ‘We’re not big-wedding types. I don’t need to have all that. I’m just trying to enjoy the engagement bit.’ So what does Keira want for her relationship? She didn’t hesitate in citing her parent’s marriage as something she aspires to have saying:

‘My parents are together after 40 years. The fights are there, but they love each other. It’s not like the first three months, the first two years, whatever it is, but I think it gets more interesting or I hope so.’
