We’ve got to hand it to Royal fans, they never miss a thing, do they? They were the ones to notice the secret meaning behind the Royal tour wardrobe, and how Kate paid tribute to Poland with this ivory satin cocktail dress. Now they’ve spotted a hidden detail on Kate Middleton’s final Berlin dress.

The Duchess of Cambridge chose a leafy green Markus Lupfer dress to visit Germany's last ballroom, Clarchens Ballhaus with Prince William. There was the fact the dress was by a German designer, which in itself was a nice tribute to the country, but that’s not the detail fans zoned in on.

Really looking at the details, they saw that the intricate pattern on the dress featured birds in flight, but not just any birds, eagles.

And in case you were wondering, eagles are the national bird of Germany, so this could very well have been another subtle way for the Duchess to pay tribute to the country on the final night of her tour.

Kate, who has experimented with bolder looks on tour, accessorised with a pair of simple Prada heels (which she wore in Poland too), a silver belt and pearl bracelet.

Of course, the Duchess' style has always been a talking point, but this latest sartorial choice just proves that her Royal wardrobe can be just as powerful and meaningful as an official speech.
